Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 19, 2026
Russian Jobs Online (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated from Moscow, Russia, publishes this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle information in connection with your use of russianjobsonline.com (the “Site”). We are a media and directory site covering Russian jobs, cities, culture, and language — we are not an employment agency, immigration consultancy, or data broker.
1. Information We Collect
We aim to collect the minimum information necessary to operate the Site:
- Information you provide directly — for example, your name and email address if you contact us, comment, or subscribe to updates.
- Automatically collected information — standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected via cookies and analytics tools (see our Cookie Policy).
- Analytics data — we use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand aggregate site usage. This data is generally pseudonymous and used for statistical purposes only.
We do not currently require account registration, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, religion, or political opinions).
2. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
- To respond to inquiries sent to russianjobsonline@gmail.com;
- To analyze aggregate traffic and content performance;
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Users)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data on the basis of: (a) your consent (e.g., optional analytics cookies); (b) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site; and (c) compliance with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Full details, including how to manage your preferences, are in our Cookie Policy.
5. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may link to third-party job boards, employer websites, government visa portals, or other external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. We currently use Google Site Kit/Analytics for traffic insights; Google’s own privacy practices govern its processing of that data.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the Site (e.g., hosting, analytics), under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.
7. International Data Transfers
As the Site is operated from Russia and may use service providers located in other countries, personal data may be transferred across borders. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
9. Your Rights Under GDPR (EEA/UK Residents)
If GDPR applies to you, you have the right to: access, rectify, or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at russianjobsonline@gmail.com.
10. Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion or correction of your personal information; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may submit requests, or designate an authorized agent to do so, via russianjobsonline@gmail.com.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date” above.
